At 5 PM today, Sunday, 25 October 2026, two form windows closed. The UP Sainik School entrance exam stopped accepting applications at its normal fee of Rs 1,000, and the Rashtriya Military Schools Common Entrance Test (RMS CET) stopped accepting late-fee application forms. If your child’s form for either exam is already submitted, the pressure eases. If it is not, read the next two sections carefully — because tonight still holds one live action, and tomorrow opens a second chance for one of the two exams.
For RMS CET, the form and the fee have different deadlines. The form had to be submitted by 5 PM, but fee payment runs till 11:50 PM tonight. That matters because an unpaid form is not a complete application — and a bank debit alone does not prove submission. Tonight, before 11:50 PM:
If the fee fails tonight, retry well before 11:50 PM — payment gateways slow down near deadlines, and there is no announced extension beyond tonight.
Missing the UP Sainik normal-fee window costs money, not the year. The late window runs from 26 to 31 October, closing at 5 PM on 31 October, with a total fee of Rs 2,000. After that comes the correction window on 3 to 5 November, admit cards after 25 November, and the exam on 20 December 2026. If you are applying tomorrow, keep the domicile check in mind: applicants and their fathers must be domiciled in Uttar Pradesh, and one mobile number carries one registration.

The RMS CET correction window opens the day after tomorrow — use it. Photograph, signature and exam-city preferences are the fields families most often need to fix, and the window is short. Once it closes, the details stand as submitted.
From tonight: the RIMCEE written exam is 42 days away (6 December), RMS CET is 49 days away (13 December), and the UP Sainik exam is 56 days away (20 December). The AISSEE 2027 exam is 98 days away on 31 January 2027 (EXPECTED). For families whose child sits a December exam, the next two weeks are for correction windows and mock tests, not new syllabus — the syllabus is set, and accuracy under time pressure is now the skill that moves marks.
On the AISSEE notification watch: as of yesterday evening’s live portal check, the NTA portal still showed 2026-cycle items only — 15 days past last year’s 10 October release date. One education portal claims the notification came out on 13 October, while the same portal’s own AISSEE page says no 2027 bulletin was listed as of 16 October. Until a bulletin appears on the official NTA portal, treat every “form out” claim as unverified.
Can I still pay the RMS CET fee tonight after the 5 PM form deadline?
Yes. The RMS CET form closed at 5 PM on 25 October, but fee payment for already-submitted forms stays open till 11:50 PM tonight. Pay before that hour; an unpaid form is not a valid application.
I missed the UP Sainik normal-fee window. What now?
Apply in the late window from 26 to 31 October, when the total fee is Rs 2,000 instead of Rs 1,000. The window closes at 5 PM on 31 October, and the correction window runs from 3 to 5 November.
When is the RMS CET correction window?
On 27 and 28 October, as reported by EdexLive and Zollege from the NTA schedule. Use it to fix permitted fields; details that the bulletin marks non-editable cannot be changed after this window.
When are the two December exams?
RMS CET is on 13 December 2026 and the UP Sainik School entrance exam is on 20 December 2026. RMS CET admit cards come five to seven days before the exam, with the city slip expected in the last week of November.
