Last verified: 15 October 2026 (Thursday, night). The vacancy list, dates, fee and application address below are CONFIRMED from the school’s short notice dated 13 October 2026, as reported by two independent portals — QuickSarkari and SarkariNetwork — which agree on all five posts, the 17 October to 6 November 2026 application window, the ₹500 / no-fee structure and the offline mode. The detailed application form and full notification are published on the school’s official website, ssrw.org — this article is a news summary, not a substitute for the official notice.
Sainik School Rewari, in village Gothra of Haryana’s Rewari district, has issued a short recruitment notice dated 13 October 2026 for 5 teaching and non-teaching posts. This is one of the fresher Sainik School hiring announcements this month — and the clock on it is genuinely short: offline applications are accepted only between 17 October and 6 November 2026 (5:00 PM).
This is a receipt deadline, not a posting deadline. Your application must be in the school’s hands at Gothra by 5 PM on 6 November. Given postal delays, speed post from outside Haryana realistically needs 4–5 working days — so treat 31 October as your personal last day to post.
October has been unusually busy for Sainik School hiring — compare with the Sainik School Kunjpura recruitment (15 posts, apply by 31 October), the Sainik School Mainpuri recruitment (2 posts, apply by 25 October) and the Sainik School Goalpara recruitment (13 posts, apply by 12 November). Rewari’s list is smaller but has an interesting spread — a doctor, a physical-education teacher, a nursing assistant, a matron and a counsellor.
| Post | Posts | Essential qualification (per portals) |
|---|---|---|
| Medical Officer | 1 | MBBS degree |
| PGT (Physical Education) | 1 | Degree in Physical Education |
| Nursing Assistant (Male) | 1 | Nursing diploma / GNM / B.Sc Nursing with 5 years’ experience |
| PEM / PTI-cum-Matron (Female) | 1 | Class 10 passed |
| Counsellor | 1 | Graduate or postgraduate in Psychology, postgraduate in Child Development, or graduate/postgraduate with a diploma in career guidance and counselling |
The engagement type is reported as regular / contractual by one portal and as contractual by another — 🔶 EXPECTED: the posts appear to be largely contractual engagements, but the exact nature of each post (regular vs contract) is only in the official notification. Check ssrw.org before applying.
Download the prescribed application form and the full notification from ssrw.org (available from 17 October 2026). Fill it carefully, attach self-attested copies of your certificates from matriculation onward, a passport-size photograph, the bank draft, and send the complete packet to: The Principal, Sainik School Rewari, Vill – Gothra, Distt – Rewari, Haryana – 123102. Write on the envelope: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ……………” (filling in the post name). Keep a photocopy of everything you send, and get a postal receipt as proof of dispatch.
One practical note: this is an offline process, so there is no confirmation SMS or application number. Your postal receipt is your only proof that you applied on time — file it safely until the selection list is out.
