Last verified: 15 October 2026 (Thursday, afternoon). The vacancy count, dates, fees and pay figures below are CONFIRMED from the school’s October 2026 notification as reported by multiple independent job portals — FreeJobAlert, TodayGovernmentJobs and MySarkariNaukri agree on the 2 posts, the 25 October 2026 deadline, the offline application mode and the ₹500/₹250 fee. This is a deadline reminder: the notification itself was issued on 6 October 2026, and 10 days remain to apply. Always read the official notification on the school website (sainikschoolmainpuri.com) before sending documents or money.
Sainik School Mainpuri (Uttar Pradesh) has notified two contractual vacancies — 1 TGT English and 1 Counsellor — and the application window closes on 25 October 2026. With 10 days remaining, the timeline is tighter than it looks: this recruitment is offline only, the school counts the date your form reaches Mainpuri (not the date you posted it), and speed post from distant districts can easily take 4–5 working days.
This follows a busy October for Sainik School hiring — compare with the Sainik School Kunjpura recruitment (15 posts, apply by 31 October) and the Sainik School Goalpara recruitment (13 posts, apply by 12 November). Mainpuri’s window is the shortest of the three, which is precisely why it gets its own reminder.
| Post | Posts | Monthly remuneration (fixed) | Nature |
|---|---|---|---|
| TGT English | 1 | ₹35,000–₹60,000 | Contractual |
| Counsellor | 1 | ₹25,000–₹45,000 | Contractual |
The engagement is contractual — reported as initially for one year, extendable — not a regular appointment. If you are weighing this against regular TGT posts elsewhere, go in with open eyes: the pay range is respectable, but there is no permanent-service claim.
Download the application format from the school’s official website, fill it carefully, attach self-attested copies of your documents and the demand draft, and send the completed packet by ordinary, registered or speed post to: The Principal, Sainik School Mainpuri, Village – Nouner Kharra, Agra Road, Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh – 205119. By-hand and email applications are not accepted. Keep a photocopy of everything you send.
