But here’s what most families miss: the deadline isn’t the end of the story. RIMC has brutally narrow eligibility (born between 2 July 2013 and 1 January 2015), and mismatches between the form and the birth certificate are the single most common reason forms get held up. When the correction window opens, check the name spelling, date of birth, category, photograph and uploaded certificates against the originals — once, slowly. Don’t resubmit the form.
