Some YouTube channel or WhatsApp forward shouts “AISSEE form aa gaya!” almost every week — and worried parents call us to check. So here is the plain truth, checked today: the AISSEE 2027 notification is still not out. The official NTA AISSEE portal’s Latest News section lists only AISSEE-2026 items — the 2026 score card, qualified and not-qualified lists for the exam held on 18 January 2026, results declaration, final answer keys, AISSAC-2026 notices, OMR and provisional answer keys, admit card, exam-city intimation, and the application-date extension. There is no 2027 notification, no information bulletin, and no application link as of today.
Why does it matter? A missed or misread announcement is the one error you cannot fix. Last year, several parents who relied on forwards rather than the official portal nearly missed the application window. The notification is the single most important document in this cycle — it fixes the application dates, the fee, the age limits, the exam pattern, the list of participating schools, and the reservation rules. Everything else is speculation until that bulletin is published.

The one firm anchor is the NTA exam calendar notice of 16 September 2026, reported by the Times of India: AISSEE 2027 is proposed for 31 January 2027 (CONFIRMED, tentative) — 122 days from today. The notification is EXPECTED in October, because the 2026 cycle’s application window ran in October 2025. That is pattern-based reasoning, not an announcement.
Based on past bulletins, here is what the 2027 bulletin will spell out (EXPECTED): application dates; the fee, which was ₹850 for General/OBC/Defence wards and ₹700 for SC/ST in the 2026 cycle and is expected to repeat; age limits — Class 6: born 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2017, Class 9: born 1 April 2012 to 31 March 2014 (PROJECTED); the exam pattern — Class 6: 150 minutes, 125 questions, 300 marks; Class 9: 180 minutes, 150 questions, 400 marks; no negative marking; plus the participating schools list and reservation rules.
First, check the official portal yourself and bookmark it — make it a weekly five-minute habit until the notification appears. Second, get your documents ready now: birth certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate if you plan to claim reservation, and recent passport photos. Domicile paperwork trips up more families than any other step — see our domicile certificate guide — and if you will claim reservation, the caste certificate format guide explains exactly what the bulletin expects. Third, ignore “form aa gaya” videos and forwards; if the application link is not on the NTA portal, it does not exist.
Several sister-school admissions are genuinely open today, and missing them would be a real loss. UP Sainik School applications close on 25 October 2026 at 5 PM — 24 days left, with a late-fee window till 31 October and a tentative exam on 20 December 2026 (details in our UP Sainik School deadline piece). RMS CET applications are open till 20 October 2026 — 19 days left — with the exam on 13 December 2026. RIMCEE’s late-fee window closes on 7 October 2026 — only 6 days left — with the exam on 6 December 2026.
