Last verified: 2 October 2026. The AISSEE 2027 notification and information bulletin have NOT been released yet. Fee amounts and payment methods below are based on the AISSEE 2026 cycle (CONFIRMED from past cycle; the 2027 figures are EXPECTED until NTA publishes them). Helpline numbers are from NTA’s official Contact Us page.

Picture this: it’s the last day of the AISSEE application window, the form is filled, the documents are uploaded — and the fee payment page freezes. Or the money leaves your bank account, the screen goes blank, and there is no confirmation page. Panic sets in. Did the form go through? Should you pay again?
This is one of the most common crises of every AISSEE season, and the answer is almost always calmer than the panic suggests. Here is exactly what to do, step by step.
Forget the bank SMS. Forget the “payment successful” screen from the payment gateway. In NTA’s system, only one thing proves your fee was accepted: the Confirmation Page generated inside your candidate login. If it exists, your application is complete — the money reached NTA. If it does not exist, your application is incomplete, no matter what your bank statement says.
So the first step in every payment problem is always the same: log back into the AISSEE portal, and check whether the Confirmation Page is there. Download it and save a PDF of it the moment you see it.
NTA has not announced the 2027 fee. For reference, AISSEE 2026 charged ₹850 for General, OBC, and defence-wards candidates, and ₹700 for SC/ST candidates — CONFIRMED from the last cycle. The amount is almost certain to repeat, but treat it as EXPECTED until the bulletin lands. Pay exactly the amount shown on your form — it is calculated from the category you selected.
Accepted modes in the last cycle: online payment through the gateway using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. No cash, no demand drafts, no offline payment.
| What happened | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Money deducted, no Confirmation Page | The gateway took money but the form didn’t complete | Wait 24–48 hours. Check your login for the Confirmation Page. Re-pay ONLY if it never appears. |
| Paid twice by mistake | Duplicate transaction | Don’t panic. Keep both transaction references. Refunds typically return automatically to the original source after bank reconciliation — usually within 5–7 working days. |
| Payment page stuck or timed out | Session expired, unclear status | Don’t refresh repeatedly. Close, log back in after an hour, check Confirmation Page status. |
| “Payment failed” but money left the account | Failed status, deducted amount | Same as row one: the status in your NTA login is the truth. If the Confirmation Page exists, you’re done. |
| Confirmation Page generated | Application complete | Download it, save a PDF, print one copy. You’re finished — stop touching the payment. |
A word on the double-debit fear, because it causes the most midnight panic: a second accidental payment has never cost anyone their admission in past cycles. The money is traced by transaction reference and returned to the source account after reconciliation. It is a waiting problem, not a losing problem.
Most payment failures are preventable. Run through this list before you click pay:
That last point matters more than it sounds. Every application season sees fake “AISSEE form” websites collecting fees that go to scammers, not NTA. If the site doesn’t look like the official NTA portal — or if someone sent you a link promising an “early form” — close it.
If the Confirmation Page is missing after 48 hours and your bank shows a deduction:
Call during working hours, keep the transaction reference handy, and note down the complaint or ticket number they give you. Then — and this is the hard part — wait. Most “lost” payments resolve within two working days.
The AISSEE 2027 form is expected to open this month, and the application window has historically been short — about three to four weeks. Parents who hit a payment snag in the final 48 hours end up in a genuine time crunch. The families who sail through are the ones who pay early, in daylight hours, on a good connection, and keep their Confirmation Page safe.
So when the form opens: fill it on day one or two, not day twenty. Pay during bank working hours. And remember the one rule — the Confirmation Page is the only proof that matters.

My money was deducted but no AISSEE confirmation page appeared. What should I do?
Wait 24 to 48 hours before doing anything. Check your bank statement and your NTA candidate login for a generated Confirmation Page. If the Confirmation Page exists, your application is complete. Only re-pay if no Confirmation Page appears after the wait.
I paid the AISSEE fee twice by mistake. Will I get a refund?
In past NTA cycles, duplicate payments have typically been refunded automatically to the original payment source after reconciliation, usually taking 5 to 7 working days. Do not pay a third time — check the Confirmation Page status first and keep both transaction references.
Which payment methods does the AISSEE 2027 form accept?
Based on the AISSEE 2026 notification, fees could be paid online through a payment gateway using debit or credit cards, net banking, or UPI. The 2027 information bulletin will confirm the final list.
How much is the AISSEE 2027 application fee?
The 2027 fee is not confirmed yet. For reference, AISSEE 2026 charged ₹850 for General, OBC, and defence-wards candidates and ₹700 for SC and ST candidates.
Who do I contact for AISSEE payment problems?

No — in recent cycles the fee has been online-only through the payment gateway. Offline payment has not been accepted.
