The three rules that matter most

1. One-time facility. NTA is explicit: after 11 October at 11:50 PM, no further correction chance will be given. Once you submit the corrected details, the form is frozen — no second round.
2. A correction can change your fee. If a correction (say, a category change) alters the examination fee applicable to you, the difference is payable online by credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI. Fee already paid is not refunded, even if the correction reduces the applicable fee.
3. Portal only. Corrections are accepted on the official website alone. No emails, no helpdesk visits, no agent can do it for you.
