Last verified: 12 October 2026 (Monday, early afternoon). The dates below are CONFIRMED from the official RIMCEE 2026 Information Bulletin (NTA’s official notice) and reported by JagranJosh, NDTV and the Education Post. The correction window is now closed — what follows is the official schedule from here.
At 11:50 PM last night, the RIMCEE 2026 correction window shut for good — the last chance to touch the form is gone.
Now the exam owns the calendar. Here’s the official road map from today to the viva voce, straight from the information bulletin — so you know exactly what’s coming and when.

The correction window ran from 9 to 11 October 2026, a one-time facility on the website only. NTA was clear: no further correction opportunity will be given. If you corrected in time, your form now reflects the fixes. If something small is still wrong, don’t panic — correction fields were limited anyway, and minor errors in non-critical fields don’t decide selection. Just make sure the essentials (name, date of birth, category, photograph) are right on the confirmation page you saved.
Save that confirmation page somewhere you won’t lose it. Screenshot it, email it to yourself, print one copy. It’s your proof of registration and your reference for every stage that follows.
| Stage | Official schedule |
|---|---|
| Correction window | Closed — 11:50 PM, 11 October 2026 |
| City intimation slip | 12–15 days before the exam (late November 2026) |
| Admit card download | 5–7 days before the exam |
| Stage-I written exam | 6 December 2026 (pen-paper, 39 cities) |
| Result declaration | By 20 February 2027 |
| Stage-II viva voce | Tentatively April 2027 |
The exam is 55 days from today. That number should shape every study decision from here on.
This week: the rule that matters most is the qualifying bar — at least 50% in each of the three papers (English, Mathematics, General Knowledge) to reach the viva. A brilliant maths score cannot rescue a failed English paper. So the revision plan has to feed all three papers every week, not just the favourite one.
Mid-November: watch for the city intimation slip (12–15 days before the exam) — it tells you the exam city, so plan travel if needed. The admit card follows 5–7 days before the exam. Download it immediately, check the photo and the centre address, and keep two printed copies.
The result comes by 20 February 2027. Those who qualify move to the Stage-II viva voce, tentatively in April 2027 — roughly four to six weeks after the result. The viva is the personality-and-confidence stage: clear speech, general awareness, honest answers. You can’t cram for it in a week, which is exactly why general knowledge should be a daily habit right now, not a December panic.
